The splendid weather over the week-end brought a number of visitors by car, bus and caravan to the seaside. Bathing conditions were ideal and large numbers greatly enjoyed a refreshing swim. Additional bathing shed accommodation has been provided by Mr Shirley for the use of picnickers. The work of snagging the Oroka creek was commenced this week by a gang of men engaged under the No. 5 scheme. The present low level of the water is making the work easier.
