Designed in a manner which makes it the most attractive and the most up-to-date rink in New Zealand, the De Luxe Skating Rink continues to receive excellent support from not only skating enthusiasts, but also the general public who have become keenly interested in skating since the opening of this well-appointed rink. The special floor offers what is practically a perfect surface for rollers, the easy running of which makes the sport even more attractive. The best of music is provided through the medium of the latest amplifying apparatus. Strict control is exercised by a competent staff of attendants, so that there need be no fear for any skaters at the De Luxe. Another novel feature is the special catering arrangements at De Luxe Cafeteria where patrons can partake of all kinds of refreshment served in the spacious and comfortable De Luxe lounge.
