SPANISH ELECTIONS
NEARLY 1000 CANDIDATES.
(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 12.50 a.m.) London, June 23. The Madrid correspondent of The Times says that 990 candidates representing 25 parties will contest 470 seats at the coming elections, including 120 Republicans, 115 Socialist Republicans, 104 Socialists, 58 representing the Catholic Party and 22 Communists. There are only six Monarchists.
