GERMAN NAZI ORGANIZATION,
HITLER ACCUSED OF TREACHERY. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, April 4. The Berlin correspondent of The Times states that open rebellion has broken out with dramatic suddenness in the Nazi organization following Herr Hitler’s dismissal of Captain Stennes, commander of the North German detachment, on the ground of insubordination. Captain Stennes’ storm detachments, reported to number 500, seized the Berlin headquarters. Captain Stennes has issued a statement accusing Herr Hitler of treachery, refusing to accept dismissal and condemning Herr Hitler’s leadership. The Hitler loyalists have opened rival headquarters in Berlin. Herr Hitler has ordered Dr Goebels to cleanse the Berlin organization, the result of which is awaited with interest.
