PROMINENT VISITOR
PROFESSOR MARSHALL ALLEN. SCIENCE OF OBSTETRICS. (Per United Press Association.) Stratford, December 10. Dr. Doris Gordon, secretary of the Obstetrical Society, states that Professor Marshall Allen, Professor of Obstetrics at Melbourne University and late Director of Maternal Mortality Research for Victoria, is coming to New Zealand as the guest of the Obstetrical Society for six weeks. He will make an extensive tour of the Dominion and will be the guest of the Poverty Bay Division of the British Medical Association for their conference, which commences in February.
He recently returned from Europe and America after studying obstetrics, in which science he is one of (be most prominent men in the Southern Hemisphere.
