AIR LINER CRASHES
FOUR PERSONS KILLED. (United Press Assn.—by Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8.0 p.m.) Shanghai, December 9. A Hankow air mail liner crashed to-day at Shanghai while taking off. The pilot, Paul Baer, an American, the co-pilot, a Chinese passenger and Madame Andreava, a Russian, were killed. General Hsiungshiwei, garrison commander, and three Chinese passengers were seriously injured. This is the first accident since the air mail has been inaugurated.
