A Beautiful Mouth

More than any other feature, perhaps, our mouth is what we make it. A beautitui face can be spoiled by an unlovely expression of the mouth. A beautiful mouth is neither, large nor small, and beautiful lips are neither thick nor thin, but any of us can do much to make our mouth beautiful, even though our lips are not ideally i>erfect in shape. .A friend of mine had a mouth that was anything but pretty, says the. writer. She studied herself in her mirror as she talked, until she decided which of her expressions was leaving an unbecoming expression on her lips. So persistently did she go about her attempt to subdue these expressions, that her mouth was completely changed within two months. Another one of my friends reduced the size, of her thick lips by rubbing them with tannin. This is easiest to apply if the pulverized tannin is mixed with your favourite cold cream. Bjting the lips is a disfiguring habit which nervourne'ss sometimes takes, and when the skin has been broken, a rawness that often develops into a sore results. When the lips have become sore from this condition, it is a good plan to use a combination of camphor and vaseline. The camphor dries the surface and forms a natural protection, and the vaseline is healing.
