EASTERN BUSH NOTES
(From Our Correspondent.) On Friday evening the Eastern Bush School Committee held a very successful dance in the Eastern Bush Hall to enable it to obtain funds for the annual school break up function. During the evening’s entertainment a novel Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr D. McLaren (Eastern Bush) and Miss’F. Wright (Tuatapere). Music was supplied by Mr Boon (piano), Mr Porter (cornet) and Mr Forbes (violin). Extras were contributed by Mr J. Lilico, Mr Mouat and Miss F. Wright. Among those present were: Mr and Mrs A. Moffatt, Mr and Mrs J. Chamberlain, Mr and Mrs Boon, Mrs W. Mac Gibbon, Misses Ballantyne, Hamilton, P. Gardiner, F. Wright, E. Maulley, M. Moffatt, O. Elley, McAra, Souness, King, D. Fowle, M. Fowle, J. Chamberlain, A. Wilson, Messrs W. MacGibbon, M. Mouat (2), J. Robertson, M. Gardiner, I. Hagan, G. Porter, McLaren (2), W. Mouat, J, Lilico, Forbes, Reed, Chamberlain (3), jGoodall, King, Wilson, Mathieson, Findlay (2), O’Brien, Ballantyne, W.,Fowle, McNaughton, Davis (2», Munro, Scobie, and others.
Mr J. Lilico, who has returned from the North Island, is at present visiting friends lit Eastern Bush.
