FOOD IN PARACHUTES
SUPPLIES FOR 1000 MEN. {United. Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) Delhi, December 7. Food supplies for 1000 men during two days while moving from Dargai to Chitral were, dropped from aeroplanes by parachutes. Fourteen planes delivered, three tons daily, making four journeys from their base. over, difficult mountainous country. Forty-eight of 56 parachute loads were der livered -safely on the first day, and every load but two on the second.
