DELIGHTED WITH VISIT.

TRIBUTE TO NEW ZEALAND.

(Per United Press Association.)

Rotorua, October 20.

Lord Stonehaven filled in every minute of his time at Rotorua. On Saturdaynight he -was entertained at a concert by the Maoris at Ohinemutu and was presented with a mere as a memento of the occasion. On Sunday he visited Whaka and the fish hatcheries, being conducted by the conservator, Mr A. Kean, and in the afternoon he made an extended tour of the forestation nurseries and plantations with the conservator, Mr Morrison. Lord Stonehaven was intensely interested in the development, expressing surprise at the extent of the area and the growth of the timber. This morning he went over the National Timber Mills at Ngongotaha, returning to Rotorua and joining the express. He was delighted with the visit, describing the country as the best piece of England he had seen out of it. His regrets were that he coulcUnot lengthen his visit.
