REVERSION TO THEFT
MAN SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT.

Wellington, October 18.
Atholl Courtenay Forbes, aged 37 years, formerly representative of the. Toledo Berkel Company in Wellington, was sent to prison for twelve months by the Magistrate to-day for failure to account for a total of £lB3 8/-.
After making good over a period of seven years, it was stated that Forbes had taken to drink and gambling and had reverted to theft.
