MR TOMLINSON’S ADDRESS.

To the Editor. Sir, —In your paper on Wednesday and following day was the full text of an address by Mr T. S. Tomlinson, given under the auspices of the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce; the subject, Banking, Currency and Exchange. I want to express my thanks for that address (as a means of education) and to you, Sir, for publishing it. It is when a working woman is given even a fleeting glimpse, of subjects such as these, that the “four-walled-outlook” upon life is banished and for a moment of illumination becomes world-wide. Sir, if it is not possible to admit women to these addresses (and there are many of us who are hungry for such education) may we hope your valued paper will continue to publish them in full? Again thanking you.—l am, etc., PRO BONO PUBLICO.
