TOLL OF TORNADO
18 KILLED IN AMERICA. (United Press Assn.-By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 10.55 p.m.) New York, May 2. A message from Sioux City (Iowa) states that 18 persons were killed by a tornado which swept the central western states of Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota and Missouri. Many have been made homeless. Much damage to farm property is reported, and many calls for relief Lave been received from scores of small communities where the wind did the greatest damage
