SHEFFIELD SHIELD. WIN FOR VICTORIA. (Rec. 9.55 p.m.) Brisbane, February 4. In the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, Queensland in the second innings made 200 (Benstead 79, Hubbard 65). Bowling, Ironmonger took three wickets for 51 runs, Blackie three for 62 and Alexander two for 41. Victoria won by an innings and 33 runs. Victoria now goes to Adelaide and if she gains an outright win against South Australia, will capture the shield from New South Wales. , Queensland in the first innings made 80. Victoria made 313.
