SHOOT AT OHAI. SOME FINE PERFORMANCES. The Ohai Gun Club held a most successful shoot on January 29 in conjunction with the local sports. Quite a number of Southland’s most notable shots were present and some good shooting was witnessed in some of the matches. The outstanding ance was the open handicap of 12 birds, which was won by M. Harris, of Wallacetown. The future looks bright for this lad in trap-shooting. He is to be congratulated on his most popular win. At the conclusion of the shooting the presentation of prizes, cup and medal to the respective winners, M. Harris (open handicap) and E. Moss (novice), was made by Mr Adam Hamilton, M.P., who congratulated them both on their win. He also stated that he was pleased to take an active part in the shooting himself. Mr Hamilton wished the club every success, and hoped it would progress. The following are the detailed result of the shooting: Open Handicap of 12 Birds.
