YACHT WRECKED
OCCUPANT’S VAIN STRUGGLE. Sydney, June 3. The yacht Erica was wrecked near Newcastle during a storm on Friday night. James Carpenter was washed ashore after a terrible struggle. He was taken to a hospital, where it. was found he was dead. His companion, Jeffrey Jacoby, is missing. —Australian Press Association.
