The Osservatore Romano states that the Irish Free State has applied to the Vatican for diplomatic relations, adding that the Holy See has benevolently accepted the request and when the usual preliminaries are carried out it will send a representative to Dublin and be happy to receive the Free State's accredited Minister.—Australian Press Association —United Service.
