ANGLO-EGYPTIAN AGREEM ENT. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, May 9. Mr G. Locker-Lampson, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, said he was glad to be able to state that an agreement satisfactory to all parties had been reached between the British Government and the Egyptian Government regarding the distribution ol the Nile waters. It would be generally recognized that this could not fail to facilitate development and promote prosperity both in Egypt and the Sudan.—British Official Wireless.
