PERJURY ALLEGED
BAILIFF CHARGED.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, May 9. Julius Barth, middle aged, and a bailiff for 13 years pleaded not guilty to a charge of perjury. He reserved his defence and was committed for trial. After serving a summons on a woman Barth left another for a relative with her and according to the statement produced by the police he declared both summonses had been personally served whereas the woman's relative was in hospital when the other summons was left.
