ANNUAL APPEAL.
DUNEDIN’S INCREASED FIGURES.

Dunedin, April 19.
The Poppy Day appeal resulted in the raising of £1,300 in the city alone, this sum being exclusive of the returns from country districts. Last year the amount raised in the whole of Otago was £750.
AUCKLAND RETURNS.
Auckland, April 19.
The annual Poppy Day appeal organized by the Returned Soldiers’ Association realized £1,269, with a number of returns yet to come. Last year’s collection realized £1,492.
