YOUNG MAN SHOT
FATHER ACQUITTED OF MURDER
(Rec. 7.50 p.m.) Sydney, April 18. Joseph Lever, charged with the murder of his son, Harold, at Dunedoo, was acquitted and discharged.—Australian Press Association.
Harold Lever, aged 23, was shot dead at Dunedoo on March 4. His father, Joseph Lever, was held on a charge of murder. If was alleged that a quarrel occurred and the son was shot dead with a pea rifle on the river bank where the father and two sons camped.
