CHOLERA EPIDEMIC

BENGAL AND ALLAHABAD. (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) Delhi, April 18. Cholera epidemics are raging in several districts of Bengal and Allahabad. At the latter place infection was spread by hawkers selling contaminated food. The sale of ice cream and sweets is now banned. In Bengal during the last two years 100,000 have died of cholera. —Australian Press Association.
