WHALE OIL LOST
BARGE SINKS IN HARBOUR. New York, April 17. A barge carrying a 250,000 dollars’ cargo of whale oil from the Antarctic whaler Sir James Clark Ross, sank in New York harbour in a storm which battered the coast from Maine to Virginia last night and to-day.—United Service.
