INDIA’S UNENVIABLE RECORD.

In India last year there were 203 industrial disputes involving nearly 507,000 workers and the loss of 31,000,000 working days, the latter being greater than the total number of days lost in the five preceding years put. together. One hundred and eleven disputes occurred at the Bombay cotton mills.—Australian Press Association.
