FAR-REACHING EFFECT OPINION OF RUSSIAN JOURNAL WORLD-WIDE CLASS WARFARE (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) London, October 14. The Riga correspondent of the Daily Mail reports: “Strikes in Australia, Poland and Czecho-Slovakia mark the beginning of a new #ave of labour disturbances which will sweep the world,” says the Pravda. Emphasizing' that long accounts were published in the Soviet newspapers regarding unrest in Australia and other countries the paper adds: “For the Third International this is the signal for the beginning of class warfare. Much depends on the activity of Communist agitators abroad acting on Moscow’s instructions regarding control of strikes and the beginning of class conflicts.”—Australian Press Association. TEXTILE WORKERS STRIKE. (Rec. 7.5 p.m.) Warsaw, October 14. A general .strike has been proclaimed at Lodz following a strike of 200,000 textile workers. Communists, apparently plentifully supplied with funds, are arriving at Lodz from throughout Poland. Crowds assembled round the prisons demanding the release of political prisoners. A state of emergency has been declared and the military are taking special precautions.—Australian Press Association.
