FIRE ON MOERAKI
WOODEN PARTITIONS DAMAGED. Sydney, October 15. Fire was discovered in the bathroom, kitchen and storeroom of the Moeraki today. Only two stewards were aboard. They gave the alarm and succeeded in extinguishing the fire before the brigade arrived. The damage was mostly to the wooden partitions.—Australian Press Association.
