TELEPHONIC SERVICE
UNITED STATES TO SPAIN. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Washington, October 13. President Coolidge and King Alfonso inaugurated a telephonic service between the United States and Spain on Saturday, conversing over a radio and cable circuit of 6500 miles. Both acclaimed the new means of communication as a great factor in the perpetuation of friendship and peace. —Australian Press Association —United Service.
