DEMENTED MOTHER

CHILDREN THROWN INTO RIVER. New York, October 13. Detroit reports that an unidentified woman, ill and demented, hurled her five children into the river from Belle Isle bridge. The coastguard dragged out the mother and two children and rushed them to the hospital. It. is probable their lives will be saved, but the others were drowned. —United Service.
