Cattle: Shorthorns 43, Hereford 40, Aberdeen Angus 47, milking shorthorn 44, Red Polls 28, Friesians 89, Ayrshires 55, Jerseys 82, Guernsey 1, special dairy classes 22, fat cattle 12, dairy cattle 8, total 471. Sheep: Lincoln 53, Romney 281, English Leicester 16, Border Leicester 8, Shropshire Down 26, Southdown 153 Merino 21, Ryeland 48, Corriedale 61, halfbreds 8, fat sheep 42, fat lambs 42, fleece classes 47, total 806. Pigs: 219. Needlework: 357. Home industries: 318. Photography 93. Art, technical and public school 1245, making the grand total of 4050.
