FREIGHTER ABLAZE
FUEL OIL BURNING. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, October 12. A message from Portland (Oregon), states that the British freighter Trojanster, en route from Shields (England) to British Columbia ports is on fire off the Northern Californian coast. Fuel oil is ablaze. Ships are rashing to her aid.—Australian Press Association —United Service.
