EXPENDITURE OF £10,000,000. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.| Rugby, October 9. The Australian Prime Minister, Mr Bruce, has announced that his Government intends to carry out Air-Marshal Sir John Salmond's recommendation for the improvement of the Australian Air Force equipment involving an expenditure of over £10.000,000 in the next nine years.—British Official Wireless.
