PLANE CRASHES
MEXICAN AIRMAN KILLED. London, July 13. A message from Mount Holly (New Jersey) states that Captain Emilo Carranza, the Mexican Goodwill flyer, was killed in a crash near there while attempting a nonstop flight from New York to Mexico City. He took off on Thursday, and his body was found in the woods to-day.—Australian Press Association—United Service. FOUND IN PINE FOREST. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) New York, July 13. Carranza’s plane crashed into a pine forest where it was almost indistinguishable. The aviator was found by a berry picker. Carranza was- recently received at Washington as an official goodwill envoy of the Mexican Government. He was lavishly entertained and received glowing tributes in the American Press. He expressed a desire at his departure to return to Mexico City to a bride of less than a month.—Australian Press Association.
