FOOTBALLER LOSES AN EYE. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) Wellington, July 1. In a fourth grade Rugby match, a Marist player, E. Gornall received injuries which made necessary the removal of an eye. FOOTBALLER INJURED. Christchurch June 30. While playing football in a third grade match at Rangiora to-day, W. Mann, a Merivale player, broke a leg.
