FIRES
HOUSE DESTROYED. (Per United Presa AsHoclatlon.) Auckland, July 1. A wooden house of seven rooms in Mt Roskill was gutted by fire yesterday afternoon. The house was unoccupied at the time the owner, Mr P. A. Fowler and family being away for the week end. Practically all the contents were destroyed. The house was insured for £l5OO in the South British and the contents for £250 in the Norwich Union.
