TRAINING COLLEGE REGULATIONS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 28. Mr Forsyth, chairman of the Education Board, has issued a statement expressing satisfaction with the Minister’s decision to withdraw the proposed training college regulations. He says the considered opinion of boards is that the proposed regulations were in the nature of a step towards cen tralization and their abandonment had been brought about by the solid protest made by boards supported by public opinion. There are many questions on which the conference between the Ministei and boards would greatly tend to remove difficulties of administration and he trusts the Minister will see his way to convene such at an early date.
