EQUIPMENT FOR SHIPS
ROPE-THROWING APPARATUS. London, June 27. Mr C. G. Ammon (Labour) introduced a Bill in the Hoime of Commons to compel all ships over 500 tons to carry an apparatus capable of throwing a rope at least 150 yards. The Bill was read a first time. —Australian Press Association.—United Service.
