GOLDEN WEDDING CELEBRATED. PRINCE MAKES PRESENTATION. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, June 26. In the presence of 10,000 people at the International Horse Show at Olympia today the Prince of Wales presented to the well-known sportsman, Lord Lonsdale, on the celebration of his golden wedding, a gold casket to which sportsm'en in all parts of the world have subscribed. The Prince said that a considerable sum had been received over the cost of the casket and this would be handed to Lord Lonsdale for distribution to charities as he thought fit. Lord Lonsdale said he proposed to use it to establish a convalescent home for sportsmen.—British Official Wireless.
