EASTERN DISTRICT COMPETITION. (From Our Correspondent) The postponed fixture between the Gon High School and Mat aura was played yesterday, Mat aura creating a surprise by de feating School 2 —o. Mat aura attacked ii the first spell, School playing below th< form of earlier matches. Miss J. Curtii scored twice for Mataura in this spell. Th< second half saw School playing with mon combination, but the Mat aura goalie die some great stopping. Messrs Crawfon and Paulin refereed.
