WEST AUSTRALIA
STATE RAILWAY EMPLOYEES. SYMPATHY TOWARDS STRIKERS. Perth, April 14, In sympathy with the Midland railway strikers the State railway employees have re. fused to handle goods for delivery to the Midland Company. 'Jhe State Railway Commissioner has therefore announced there was no other course but to refuse to accept further consignments. This development will probably defeat the Midland Com. pany’s endeavour to send a special train from Midland Junction to Geraldton with the aid of officials.—Australian Press Association.
