SHIPPING DELAYED
FOG IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR. (Per United Press Association.) , Auckland, April 4. The harbour and foreshore were enveloped in a thick fog for over six hours yesterday afternoon and evening. The fog extended as far as Cape Colville. Ferry traffic was guided by fog signalling bells and syrens. The Wainui from Gisborne was delayed over an hour in the gulf and arrived at 5 p.m. The oil tanker Plume from San Pedro was delayed near Cuvier and did not reach port till midnight. ,
