LONG DISTANCE FLIGHT. (Rec. 5.5 pm.) Paris, October 30. Rignot and Coste achieved a record. They arrived at Jansk in the Persian Gulf, covering 5,500 kilometres. The previous record stood at 5,170 kilometres.—A. and NX The aviators Rignot and Coste started from Le Bourget for the Persian Gulf in an attempt to establish a record for long distance flying in a straight line.
