DRIVER CENSURED
WOMAN KILLED BY BUS. CORONER’S COMMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, October 28. At the inquest concerning the death of Mrs Florence Alice Matyke who was killed through being knocked down by a motor bus on September 7, the Coroner, Mr McKean, S.M., said it was the duty of the driver, Lionel Arthur McAskell, to have exercised more caution than he did, and the only conclusion he could form was that the bus was negligently driven by McAskell. A formal verdict was returned that deceased died as a result of being knocked down by a bus.
