Here is a summary of the Prospectus issued in connexion with the Christchurch Drainage Board’s Debenture Loan of £7oo,ooo:—Price of Issue: Par; Maturity: October Ist, 1973; Interest: £5 15s per cent, per annum; Exchange paid by the Board on all accepted Application Money; Principal and Interest, payable Free of Exchange at any Branch of Bank of New Zealand within the Dominion; Debentures issued in Denominations of £lOO, £5OO or £lOOO at option of purchaser; Debentures and Interest secured by special rates on the capital value of an area comprising practically the whole of the city of Christchurch and a large portion of its suburbs; Sinking Fund provided for repayment of Loan; Application Money received at the Office of the Board, 198 Hereford Street, Christchurch, in Cash, Bank Draft or Cheque; Brokerage of 10/per cent paid to Members of recognised Stock Exchanges and to Banks and Solicitors doing business in the Dominion on sales actually completed by them.
