SUGGESTED WIRELESS SCHOOL. REPRESENTATIONS TO MINISTER OF MARINE. (Special to the Times.) Auckland, June 16. A suggestion’ that representatives of the Merchant Service Guild, principals of the schools of navigation and persons interested in private radio schools and shipowners should confer on the question of establishing a wireless school in Auckland has been made by the Minister of Marine, the Hon. G. J. Anderson. In reply to representations by the Auckland branch of the Merchant Service Guild for the establishment of a school of wireless at Auckland, the Minister said it was one in which all parties were interested. He thought there would be no real difficulty in securing the services of a qualified instructor for the classes, adding that it was likely that the Post and Telegraph Department would provide an officer to take the classes until a permanent instructor was appointed.
