YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. (By “Defence.’’) Owing to the unsatisfactory weather conditions on Wednesday the basket-ball matches were uninteresting from the point of view of the spectator, both the ball and the court being decidedly wet and slippery and many of the players found it difficult to play up to their usual standard.
