BASKETBALL NOTES
YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. (By “Defence.’’) Owing to the unsatisfactory weather conditions on Wednesday the basket-ball matches were uninteresting from the point of view of the spectator, both the ball and the court being decidedly wet and slippery and many of the players found it difficult to play up to their usual standard. The results of the matches are as follows : —Senior—lona A 19 v Wellesley 11 (played at High School), Bluff 38 v High School B 4 (played at High School). High A 45 v Rata B 6 (played at High School). lona B 44 v Waikiwi B 9 (played at High School). St. John’s A 46 v Rata A 21 (played at Convent). " * Collegiate 20 v Waikiwi A 20 (played at Waikiwi). —Junior— Collegiate 8 v High School B 8. Technical A 42 v Convent B 4 (played at Technical College). St. John’s A 31 v Convent A 4 (played at St. John’s). High School A had a bye.
