The City of Winchester completed her loading on Saturday and sailed for Port Chalmers at 9.45 aan. yesterday. The Canterbury Steam Ship Company’s steamer Calm arrived from Lyttelton at 8.30 a.m. yesterday. The Kotare left Bluff to enter Invercargill harbour at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. The Union Steam Ship Company’s steamer Karetu sailed for Oamaru on Saturday at 3.45 p.m. The Waipahi will dock at Port Chalmers to-day. The Port Curtis sailed from Auckland for London, via Panama, at 7 aan. on Tuesday last. The Hain Line steamer Min arrived at Auckland from New York on Tuesday last. The Oreti undocked after overhaul at Port Chalmers on Saturday, and sailed for Dunedin to load for Invercargill. The Tekoa, after loading at Tim ar u, Lyttelton and Wellington, is to sail from the last-named port on Thursday for West of England ports, via Panama. The Federal Line steamer Hertford arrived at Auckland on Tuesday last from Liverpool to commence discharging her Home cargo. The vessel is due at Bluff, via ports, early next month. A cablegram from Panama announces the arrival of the steamer Huntingdon en route from Wellington to New York, Boston, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Avonmouth. A departure from Wellington early on Thursday morning last was the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic with passengers, mails and cargo for Southampton and London, via Panama. It is stated that the four-masted schooner Columbia, of 584 tons, has been chartered to load lumber for Australia or New Zealand at Gray’s Harbour, Washington, United States. No further particulars have been announced. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Pirie was due at Auckland on Saturday from New York. She has case oil and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Now completing her discharge of London cargo at New Plymouth, the C. and D. Line advise that the steamer Port Napier commences loading there and sails to-morrow for Gisborne, thence Tokomaru Bay, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up, sailing finally from the last-named port on June 28 for London, via Monte Video. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the liner Tamaroa, late Sophocles, leaves Southampton on September 10 with passengers for Wellington and cargo for discharge at Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. The Mataroa, late Diogenes, is scheduled to clear Southampton on November 5 for Auckland and Wellington, and is due at Auckland on December 8. THE ISLANDS SERVICE. The Tofua is due at Auckland from Suva to-morrow. The Ngakuta loaded at Rarotonga, Mangala and Aitutaki last week for Auckland and Wellington. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. Wellington.—Saturday only: Wahine, Mararoa, Tamahine, Arahura, Hororata. For Saturday and Sunday: lonic, Ruahine, Maunganui, Tascalusa, Waitemata, Devon, Adna, Canadian Conqueror, Willaston. Awarua.—For Saturday and Sunday: Manuka, Karetu, Waikouaiti, Waiotapu. Chatham Islands.—For Saturday and Sunday: Port Nicholson and Willesden.
