SECRETS OF GIBRALTAR

AN INTERESTING DISCOVERY. SKULL 20,000 YEARS OLD. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, June 11. News from Gibraltar states that Miss Garrod, a student of the Institute of Paleontologie Humanie of Paris, has discovered the frontal bone and other portions of the human skull belonging to a youth, embedded in the hardest tufa, with typical mousterian implements lying under twelve feet of deposit containing similar implements. The skull is the same age and type as the Gibraltar skull discovered in the Forbes quarry in 1840, and estimated to be not less than 20,000 years old.—A. and N.Z.
