NUMEROUS ARRESTS
DEATH OF EX-EMPEROR.
Tokio, April 30.
Seoul reports indicate that there were numerous arrests in connection with demonstrations over the death of the ex-Enrperor and that the two Japanese attacked were aidermen. The attackers were not Korean police, but a fanatic whose intention was to assassinate the Governor-General, Saito, mistaking one of the men attacked for him. The attacker was arrested.—Reuter.
