(Supplied by General Port Office.) INCOMING OVERSEAS MAILS. The s.s. Tahiti left San Francisco for Wellington on April 22. She carries mails from Britain and America, and is due to arrive at Wellington on Monday, 11th inst. The portion for Invercargill (50 bags) should reach here next Tuesday night. AN ALTERATION. Altered closing time, north mails. Commencing on Monday, May 11, the closing time for mails for north by express train will be 6.15 a.m., instead of 5.25 a.m. as at present. WEDNESDAY, MAY 13. Mails for Australia, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Egypt, South Africa, etc., close at C.P.O. on Wednesday, May 13, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by s.s. Maunganui from Wellington to Sydney. FRIDAY, MAY 15. Mails for Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), also Pitcairn Island, Cristobel (Panama Canal), Central America, British, French and Dutch Guiana, Venezuela, Columbia, Peru and Ecuador close at C.P.O. on Friday, May 15, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch from Wellington by s.s.
