The Argyllshire is expected to sail to-day for Port Chalmers to continue loading for United Kingdom ports. The Athenic sailed from Dunedin last evening at 5 p.m. She is due at Bluff about 3 p.m. this afternoon. She will discharge about 1300 tons of general cargo and load 30,000 carcases of lamb and mutton. It is expected to despatch her about Tuesday for Wellington. The Calm is due on Wednesday with general cargo from Dunedin. She will sail the same evening. Transhipments ex the Raranga, which has just completed at Dunedin, reached Invercargill yesterday, having been railed through from Dunedin. THE KOTARE. The Kotare is expected to leave Dunedin this evening for Invercargill with general cargo. THE ORETI. The Oreti will be in dock at Dunedin for about a week. THE CITY OF SHANGHAI. From New York, via Panama, the Ellerroan and Buchnall Line steamer City of Shanghai arrived at Auckland on Thursday. The vessel, which is laden with general American cargo to the agency of the A. and A. Line, will later visit Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Port Pirie to complete discharge. She should arrive here about May 26. RUAHLNE’S SAILING DATE. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Ruahine left Lyttelton at 1 pm. on Wednesday for Auckland, Napier, and Wellington to complete Homeward loading. The vessel’s departure from Wellington for Southampton and London has been postponed until 3 pm. on Tuesday, May 19. “ALL WELL” ON TURAKINA. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received a wireless message from the liner Turakina, which left Wellington on April 29 for London, stating that the vessel is experiencing fine weather and that all on board are well. INCOMING SAN FRANCISCO MAIL. The R.M.S. Tahiti, en route from San Francisco, left Papeete on Saturday last for Rarotonga, and cleared Rarotonga on Monday for Wellington. She is due at the northern port on Monday. The Tahiti will not proceed to Sydney this trip. STRANDED TREBARTHA. HOPES OF REFLOATING. SYDNEY, May 7. The latest reports of the chances of refloating the Trebatha are more hopeful, though she is hard and fast up to the foremast. Her position is not considered serious if the weather remains fine. Her boats are unloading the cargo. Later. The Trebartha has been refloated, apparently undamaged. After reloading the discharged cargo she proceeds to Rabaol. TELEGRAPHED REPORTS.
